@genevanarsdale9067 If course he does. There is as much free speech allowed in Russia as there is in Europe - and probably more than is allowed in America.

@sdk4422 There is a considerable amount of objection to the war in Russia, especially among the young, educated urban middle class. Thousands are trying to escape conscription. Opposing views are aired on TV and indeed in the streets. It's certainly true to say that the police come down hard on those who seem likely so cause riot and damage, but otherwise you can speak freely against the war - probably more so than an American can speak in favour of it.
