  1. The problem with brands is they have logo’s or a certain look that is instantly recognisable. Diamonds are not going to be able to have that and it will be the box it comes in, so unless you take the box out with you everywhere you go and stick it to a piece of clothing nobody will ever know.   2. The market is flooded with them and when you pay the price for a natural one you might be paying for a manufactured one. It is hard for the industry to tell the difference now. Also it is a con because they use terms such as he doesn’t love you as much because he didn’t buy something that took millions of years to create. My cousin and her husband went for a cubic zirconia for their engagement ring. They were not interested in losing £1,000’s at the point of sale. It is like a car but worse. As soon as you take it off the forecourt it loses value, and the ring was nice and sparkly anyway.
