  1. Why is it not getting warmer in Britain every year? We had yet again another miserable summer last year. A few hot days here and there but mostly cloudy and average. So we had one blisteringly hot day 3 years ago which they took the temperature from the edge of a plane runway as jets were taking off. Can we have some of that 1976 summer weather back for at least one more year before I expire?
