  1. You wouldn’t cover your own star would you? It would do great for the climate on the home planet. More like turn it into an ice world. Not to say the coronal mass ejections damaging such a structure. Where do the scientists get their silly ideas from? There seems to be so much hope of finding another civilisation that competent science goes straight out of the window. Far away civilisation’s will probably never be found because they are likely to be within different galaxies so far away that we would never be able to see them. Then if we could they would probably be extinct at this point in time.
