  1. When you think about it, when a country like Israel says to the people living in Gaza City “Get out and go south” what would you do? If you are on a death wish you would stay. I know what I would do, get out of my home quick because the thought of being trapped in rubble or worse is not an option. Israel gave that warning so I do question how many people really stayed knowing what the other option meant. 11,000 dead seems like a large number to me. That would mean hundreds of thousands stayed in their homes just waiting for the inevitable to happen. If you consider what has been bombed so far, then surely hardly nobody must have heeded the warning and just sat there waiting for their fate. Highly unlikely if you ask me.

  2. If 60,000 civilians stayed in Gaza City that would be roughly 425 people to every square mile or one person to every 6400 square metres. Logically if one dies you will get 3 injured. Most of Gaza city still stands so how has 11,000 died? That is not possible. The thing is 11,000 is just the right number for it to be shocking to outside observers who will not do the maths. Any more over that number will make people question how is that possible, and say if only 1,000 have really lost their lives. Then that is a number ghat most would look at as just what happens in war. 11,000 seems a nice number right in the middle to get people worked up about but not too much for them to ask questions of possibility. I might be wrong but logic and 5 minutes of research says different.
