  2. People in prison should be made to pay their own way. They used to make mail bags but I’m sure there is an alternative today that would even make a profit which would give them a few quid for when they come out. Imagine doing 10 years and having £20k when you get out. That is enough to get you back on your feet and a probation officer holds that money so it goes on stuff like rent and other stuff to get you back into work and on your feet.
