  1. The age of 13-18 for a young man in a city is the most dangerous time of their lives from experience. They will get targeted by groups of their own age at some point. Testosterone levels are raging and starting to get an identity and forming gangs is the norm for that group. As soon as you hit your 20’s that danger seems to recede very sharply as the younger lads tend to be blind towards you. It isn’t 100% that you wouldn’t be targeted but mostly life becomes a lot safer.
