I remember in 1986 my food bill for 2 weeks was £25 A year ago it was £30 That means in 36 years my food bill rose £5 I would expect my 4 pints of milk to be about £3 today, but just a few months ago it was still £1 the same as it was back in 1986. Now it is as if it is being adjusted towards its real cost. We have had it good for a long time with food and that is coming to an end.
