  1. Democracy is the implementation of voting for a new guard before the people get restless and start rebelling. The problem today is the guard gets changed with no change at all resulting from it, hence the revolt a couple of months back. We might as well go back to a monarchy. A monarch is in power for a long time and can’t be corrupted as he/she already has great wealth, and he/she would want to put his/her welfare of the country and people first in order to keep them happy and from rebelling.
