There has never been a prediction come right yet. From Al Gore to Greta Thunberg. From the new Ice Age to the world is not going to be here in 5 years. Why are we going through it when places like China, India and the USA are the worst culprits? Britain has 1% of the worlds population but only puts out only 1/2% of the carbon. It is so boring and we the people of Britain are taking the brunt of it.

DAC uses just as much energy to capture the CO2 as it is pulling out of the atmosphere and you would need millions of them to make a difference.

The big greenhouse farmers pump 1000ppm into the greenhouses per day and get 30% more yield. When plants have more CO2 at their disposal the stoma shut far earlier which means they lose less water. This means plants can grow in drier climates. There are pros and cons for everything. Saying 450ppm is going to be the end of us is a bit dramatic. Just look at this year. Because we had a cool summer in Britain this year the news was forced to scaremonger about the weather near the equator and by lying about the temperatures there by 7 degrees c. Even the weather maps are orange at 12 degrees c. It is wooly jumper weather at that temperature and they still need to make it look as if we are in tropical heat by the colour of the maps.

A billion tons would cost £100 billion to remove at £100 a ton. That is still only just over 3% of the total emitted each year. It wouldn’t really make a dent in it especially as what is emitted is steadily rising each year. Where is all that money going to come from? The worlds population needs to be addressed if they want to sort this out properly. Until that happens I’m afraid it is only going to get worse as third world nations start to industrialise.
