I got a right touch the other day. I am getting some false teeth and when I had 8 teeth extracted in September last year a bone in my gum became extended which made the fitting painful. I had to have it ground down. I waited for 8 weeks for my consultation in the maxillofacial department and was told it was fully booked to the end of April. I could have waited easily until the summer but by a stroke of luck somebody cancelled their appointment and I was seen last Wednesday and had the operation, so it ended up just a two day wait. It is healing nicely and in a couple of weeks my fitting can continue. Just luck of the draw there as a nurse heard what was going on and pointed to the nurse on reception about the cancellation.
