@thewomble1509 yea some people are so dense. They will believe anything they are told. Getting that letter that says you now have been charged £120 for the court costs got me 8 years ago. I could not refute it. All I did was not pay my instalment and not contact them saying I was having trouble paying that month. Bad move and anybody that says you can get away with paying it has their head in la la land.

@sarahbeighton5492 unless everybody stops paying council tax together then it will not work. You stop paying yours and see how far you get. First it will be a letter that costs you £120 because you did not pay, and then the court process starts. Let’s see how far you get before getting your door caved in and your possessions taken. Non payment of council tax does let bailiffs cave your door in or if the judge fancies it, he/she will lock you up.
