And the consultants and doctors. There were critical babies brought in from another unit which made it overcrowded. It is easy and cut and shut to blame it on a lowly nurse than to blame the failings of a healthcare trust and more importantly the highly regarded consultants. Look at the Maddy case and you can see who gets protected. Any council estate trash who goes on holiday and leaves their kids in an apartment alone would have willingly be thrown under the bus by the authorities. In todays world you can see it all around how a certain class or group are protected above all others.

17 babies and not one shred of evidence that she killed or attempted to kill one of them? What are the odds of that? Either she is a mastermind at causing different types of murder (without any online footprint to learn how to kill which is strange) or she is being thrown under the bus. In my mind certain jurors were bullied into making the guilty verdict because the possibility of a systematic failure of care and a new investigation needing to be opened, which could lead to the consultants being found liable for that lapse in care would be too much for the state to deal with. A proper carve up if you ask me.

It is a carve up proper. They are saving themselves from an investigation into the healthcare trust and a few incompetent consultants which is far worse than a lowly nurse that does not matter. That is what it seems like, especially when there is not one bit of evidence to say she actually killed or attempted to kill one of those babies.

It is online and it looks like a proper carve up. There is not one of them babies that they can prove it was her. Either she is a mastermind at the art of death or there is more to it than meets the eye. Okay it was in a hospital setting and obviously the police were not called to investigate every child death or attempted death. Go and do that yourself outside and see if you can do it without leaving some sort of footprint that will find you not guilty. Something is not right and it seems as if she is being a sacrificial lamb to save a few incompetent consultants and healthcare trust.

@MillieBeal Also where is the online stuff to find out how to become a mastermind killer? A serial killer in most cases has an MO and there were a lot of different types of so called injuries or conditions. One other thing is there is not one out of the seventeen that can 100% be put down to her murdering or attempting to murder them. Her legal team showed without doubt that every so called child murder or attempted so called murder could be attributed to something else (likely a cover up by useless consultants) Now she could have done it but by the evidence I would have stood my ground and put in a not guilty verdict and not be swayed by the rest of the jury especially by the foreman. That unit had a lot of critical care babies from another hospital which overwhelmed that unit and in my eyes there was a good chance something went totally wrong with the running of the place. Also if a not guilty verdict was given then a whole new investigation would of had to have been opened, which we know would have pointed fingers elsewhere. We can’t be having well to do consultants being shown to be incompetent and them at most losing their careers and least not moving into their cosy little senior clubs that they strive for as their seniority arrives. Looks like a proper carve up and the truth eventually comes out that evidence was held back or an expert or two giving evidence was lying for the state. Whether she did do it or not I would not have said guilty as there was not one shred of hard evidence to say that at least one of them babies was down to her.
