  1. If the Land ice in Antartica and Greenland was melting the sea would be rising considerably. Sea ice melt does not affect the sea level. Look at the sand bars across the world and you will see that they are just a couple of inches above sea level. Any considerable sea level rise and they will disappear under the water in very little time. They are still there like they have been since we at least could take records. Oh and I live in Abbey wood (Thamesmead) like Simon spoke about so I will be one of the first to drown.
