A lot of deception involved by Belfield probably helped even though it was not to do with the case. He should have got his sentences run concurrently because of a first conviction and then it would be a bit fairer. A year and a bit is enough of a shock for him and anybody that committed this sort of crime for a first timer. It is what it is and it has been done now.
