  1. Funny that. I was just reminiscing about when I was a kid in the 1970’s and the world was full of department stores and beautiful architecture. Looking at old stock photos from where I lived. Remembering Hinds store in Eltham and Chiesmans in Lewisham. Yes life was drab then for most but now looking back I would instantly go back and enjoy it rather than this poundshop filled dystopia. Free from the internet because everybody went to social clubs and went out on summer days out to the beach from them clubs by reserving a whole train for the outing. It is only when you look back and realise how the world was so colourful with life and how bland with 💩 it is now that progress isn’t really what it is. It is a jail for our minds. I lived in Haarlem near Amsterdam in the very early 2000’s (considered the nicest town in The Netherlands) and it still had that antiquated feel as every shop was selling a different product and you had the big department store. What has Britain become? A 💩hole that is what.
