  1. You are never going to stop random attacks like this. It has happened since man walked the Earth. Do you think this is just a recent thing in England? You will find this sort of thing in print since the printing press was invented.

  2.  @SarthorS  It has probably increased a bit because some are more predisposed to violent acts. You will find the less intelligent tend to lash out more. Then you have to look up worldwide intelligence quotient numbers. That will tell its own story.
