Only AI sentience would ever be able to match or overtake the real creativity of humans. This would have been achieved many times over across the universe by now and the universe would be overtaken by such sentience already. We would see it through our telescopes as wars ravage and super weapons that destroy whole worlds and stars, or just robots that have taken hold over whole galaxies. We see none of that which can only mean AI sentience is impossible for organic beings to accomplish because it is too complicated to reproduce. Plugging emotions into a silicon chip or even quantum computers if they ever get to work is going to be impossible because it would have infested the universe by now. The only way it might be possible is if we are the only intelligent civilisation that has ever existed and still have yet to create it.

The thing is, is AI going to be able to make songs that are totally unique? Lets pluck one out of the sky. Say for instance Chanson D’amour by Manhatten Transfer. Yes it was even a cover for them but is AI really going to be able to produce a song like that from scratch? I think not somehow. That Drake song was just generic and boring and was only seemed good because he has a fan base that would buy any song no matter how bad he makes. Another one is Portugal-Feel like this. How is an AI going to be able to pluck something out of the sky like that? Yes it might be able to but it is going to sound like a rip off, which in the real world artists go to court over somebody making a song that resembles their hit song. If AI could generate hit songs that are unique, then we would be blessed to have unlimited new music which every one of those songs have the wow factor. I think AI would not be able to generate one totally unique song like man can that stands alone like so many hits over the years.
