  2. Let them buy dirty drugs at a high rate and make them go out and commit crime instead to pay for them. This has to be a better way for everyone. People moan there is a problem with crime regarding the use of illicit drugs, but when the obvious solution appears they moan anyway. The war on drugs was lost years ago and the less people who overdose and getting dealers off the streets has to be a plus. What do you suggest? You only have 2 options. Spend billions carrying on fighting violent crime and all the other crime that comes with drugs, or go down a different route? It is too early to make any decision on what is better but I can guarantee you this is going to be a better solution than nothing at all.
