Wouldn’t buy one anyway. Would rather find a veteran on the street and give them a fiver. If everybody did that as a one off to known ex servicemen on the street the problem would be solved. It would have to be a spur of the moment one off thing before grifters got out on the street next winter to get a payout.

I get it but then surely every serviceman would leave the army and try to get a home loan off them which wouldn’t be possible. Yes people shouldn’t donate to that shambles because the money is stashed in a bank accruing interest when it should be given out to worthy causes. The problem with these organisations is once they give away money to needy servicemen, more servicemen put themselves in a position of needyness to get a free lunch. It is like the homeless. If they built new houses or housed every homeless person, then it would generate more homelessness. To go back to the old way where there were few home owners and plenty of council housing where anybody would be housed is long gone sadly.

@Padhraig62 like every charity you put coins into boxes. It goes to fat cats lifestyles and administration. My mum used to work for the Red Cross and she said less than 3p in the pound actually went to the cause. To think somebody is getting paid over £200k and a small army on and around up to £100k is crazy. What is even more sad is most now have been infiltrated by the left and they employ their own on lucrative salaries. It shows how they hide behind righteousness but are really the big crooks getting away with it all in legal terms.

Are you lexdyxic? It is 80k. How did you get 70k when it specifically says 80k?
