@timtaylor750 None of what you said is bested in reality. Suicides are not murders look at the definition. As for kids that's on their parents to teach them about guns and gun safety and to keep them away from kids like anything eles which is dangerous like household cleaners or running into a roadway. In the usa anywhere from 500k to 3 million people use firearms for self defense every year. Which far out weights the murders or Suicides or kids being hurt by firearms.

@sinderella23 what do you think an assault rifle is? Theses countries you speak of don't have violation crimes with guns,knifes etc? Every country has police with firearms or police would be killed in the streets. I hope your not talking about Britain because they have a knife problem and criminals still have firearms and used them almost daily.

For instance California has over 3184 with strict guns while Florida had 2724. With canceled carry laws and triple the firearms.
