Law abiding Canadains need the ability to carry pepper spray,tasers or a firearm for self-defense,clearly the police and politicians can't protect us its up to ourselves. Canada needs its own 2nd amendment type laws,castle doctrine and stand your ground laws. When seconds matter police are always mins away!

@caimngerful531 I'm but a simple guy on the internet who sees my fellow canadains targeted by criminals daily. I'm not saying carry pepper spray,tazers or a firearm is right for everyone just that canadains should have the choice.

@gemartsiha not sure how wanting my fellow law-abiding canadains to have the ability to carry pepper spray,tasers, or a firearm for self-defense is being spooked, but whatever you need to tell yourself I guess. Women are assaulted daily, this poor lady was kidnapped from work as her coworkers stand by and did nothing, and violence across Canada is way up. I think all law-abiding Canadains should have the ability to defend themselves from armed criminals. It's a 20-plus minute for police to show up.
