When you have secs to live or die police are always mins away l. Canada needs its own 2nd amendment type laws Law abiding Canadains need to be able to carry weapons for self defense this should include pepper spray and tazers and firearms

@Robert Cross I said canadas own 2nd amendment type laws It would be another license on top of the rpal license, and the course would be like our police offer take. It would allow canadains to carry a firearm for self-defense. And pepper spray and tazers would be allowed for anyone without a criminal record. Firearm owners in Canada are less likely to commit crimes than police officers. You can't compare the US with Canada as our whole population can fit into California. The US has around 15k homicides with firearms every year and anywhere from 500k to 3 million people use firearms for self-defense every year, and that doesn't include pepper spray or tazers. Canada has been going down a dark path, and people don't feel safe. How many stories have you seen on the news about random attacks? Women are set on fire, car jacking, people being knifed, home intruders, sexual assault with women walking the bike paths. It seems to never stop, and it seems to be getting worse. I just want to give innocent people a chance to defend themselves from these animals who seem to get out on bail the next day.

@Robert Cross how can you not understand firearms owners in Canada commit fewer crimes than police officers? And have background checks done on them daily. Canada is not the US, and canadains are not Americans. You can't compare the two.

Robert Cross firarms in Canada have to be locked in a firarms safe with ammunition in another safe

@Robert Cross Google is your friend on firarms owners committing less crime than police officers

Robert Cross Firearm owners are also exceptionally law-abiding. PAL holders are less likely to commit murder than other Canadians. Between 2000 and 2020, the number of PAL holders accused of homicide varied from 6 to 21, averaging 12 accused per year out of approximately 2 million PAL holders.Nov 25, 2022

Robert Cross we traced the outcomes of 689 reports of sexual assault made to the SIU between 2005 and 2020. We found that the vast majority of allegations of sexual assault do not result in meaningful consequences for the police officers involved. That's just sexual assaults.

@Robert Cross I can't find the original article about police committing more crimes than firearms owners. However, on average, about 12 pal holder commit violet crime each year, and 689 sexual assaults have been committed by police officers from 2005 and 2020 that's just sexual assaults your going to have to look into the siu reports in Canada for some reason utube doesn't allow links any more.

@Robert Cross we were talking about firearms owners committing less crime than police officers. Which they do. Giving law abiding canadains the ability to defend themselves from criminals will innocent peoples save lifes.
