Canada needs its own 2nd amendment type laws. Law abiding Canadains need to be able to carry weapons for self defense. With this kind of stuff happening almost daily it sure would be nice to carry weapons for self defense. When you have secs to live or die police are always mins away.

@Frithonor most mass shooters in the usa were known to police before they committed the crimes. Many had history's of making threats to family,friends and on the internet.

@Frithonor how do you stop a bad guy with a gun if people don't have guns? The that shooting was stopped by an off duty officer with you guessed it a shotgun from a local store owner. Criminals will always finds ways of hurting people if not a gun it will be a knife if not a knife it will be a car etc. More guns in law abiding citizens are 100% the answer as well as mental health services. Check out the article I was talking about it's very informative as to why people commit mass shooting.

@Frithonor almost all of theses mass shooters have had mental health problems there's a article called two professors found what creates mass shooters will politicians pay attention by politico. People will always find ways to hurt people just look at what happened just acouple days 2 native Canadians stabbed 25 plus people killing 10 or more. Guns or weapons are not the problem it's mental health problems. Guns are a tool like a hammer which can be used for good or evil.

@daniellai7712 I never said every canadain just the ones that follow our laws and want to do so and go though background checks and training. I guessing you haven't been paying attention the last couple years as Canada is not more free then the usa. As for getting 2/3 of getting the politicians to vote on an 2nd amendment type laws it could be done as it's been done before the public simply has to put pressure on the politicians to do it. Why wouldn't you want the ability to defend yourself and family ? Have you every even went to a range or shoot a firearm?
