Canada needs its own 2nd amendment type laws Law abiding Canadains need to be able to carry weapons for self defense this should include pepper spray and tazers and firearms

@yourmanwatson and where did you find that data? More firearms don't equal more crime. People will always find ways to hurt or kill people if not with illegal firearms then knifes,vehicles,bats etc. Firearms don't kill people, people kill people. Canada and the usa have a problem with gangsters culture also a problem mental health. Why shouldn't a 2nd amendment type law be brought to Canada everyone has a right to defend themselves and when criminals clearly have access to firearms then law abiding citizens should have the right to own firearms and use them for self protection. I would be fine with a special course,class,training etc explaining when,how etc firearms could be used for self defense I think it would be important to have such a class,training etc.
