  1. Apparently noNeanderthals in Africa, when they were here in the Northern Hemisphere. The ancestors to Neanderthals spread out from Africa, perhaps 300,000 years ago, and our modern sapiens ancestors came later, and spread out throughout the Asian continent, and islands near to it, eventually reaching Australia. So, it isn’t JUST about the Northern Hemisphere.
