  1. We are in a time where, as citizens we are just “a market”, a source of capital. We see ads everywhere and anywhere where there can be eyes on them, and goods promoted for profit. Hard to believe that people Don’t get that government is there FOR US, to protect us from harm of contaminated food, diseases that can be prevented with vaccines, care of the environment, protection from criminality. Seems now, some of the criminals are in charge. Argh
