I cringe a bit, when I hear you talk about God as “He”. I guess you don’t want to say, “It”, but I don’t believe God has a gender. To me, God is an intelligence. Who perhaps can appear to us as a being, but really isn’t limited by being a person like we know. I think Jesus is a way for us to relate to the Godhead.
