  2. What’s between Alaska and the US? CANADA. We have a large indigenous population too, from here on East Coast, to the North and the West coast tribes. There had been a fairly recent discovery of 14,000 year old footprints on an island off the coast of British Columbia. It’s in the area of the Heiltsuk nation. It supports the idea that travel was down the coastal waterway. There’s a lot to be learned here, as well as the US, about early indigenous peoples in NA.

  3. Be sure not to neglect Canada. The Heiltsuk people of the West Coast of Canada have been there for 14,000 years. Footprints have been found on a coastal island that are that old. The Heiltsuk have always had myths that said they were there a long time…..and there’s proof they are right!
