  1. So, you’re ok with us continuing to burn fossil fuels, and be just ok with it all? I live in N.S. We’ve had more heat and humidity than is usual for here, the last few summers are warmer and more humid than past ones. We used to have moderate summers, due to ocean. The ocean is warming too, and we are getting different species here than formerly, great white sharks are getting sighted more often. We have experienced a severe dry period in the spring, which led to unprecedented wildfires, and we’ve just come off a a few weeks with heavy rain incidents causing flooding, again unprecedented. I just feel we cannot take a chance and do “business as usual”. And this summer has been very hot, and has caused problems for people across the planet, and food production, etc. We can’t be glib about this. It is a serious issue.

  2. Good explanation, Andrew! It is scary for sure. But, we have been warned, and we need to get really serious about turning this ship around.

  3.  @jonk5669  Wasn’t a few years ago, I recall lovely, comfortable summers of temps in the mid 20’s with little humidity.
