Living alone is the only thing you can do. If you take my position, that our current predicaments have more to do with sick people in overpopulated areas (look up behavioral sink), the only winners are the ones that GET OUT. The only rats in that experiment that were healthy enough to move on and possible mate after the experiment, outside in a different environment, were the male rats that defended low value territory with their life, and isolated themselves from the rats that were addicted to interpersonal behavior. Just dont give up power, intelligence. Dont turn off the internet. Keep learning and keep the fire of prometheus burning and we will break away from this garbage. If you invented a battery tomorrow that was more efficient than lithium, you would make both oil and all current mineral rights deals irrelevant.

@sickman5000 Revelations is a vision of hell on earth. It can happen as many times as we are stupid. There is no "the relevations" we're living in. Its just one of many floods, towers of babel, etc...

@holyghoststories When the social contract is broken down to such an incredible level that 200,000 people leave the workforce (have not been able to find a job for months or longer) every month, then it is no longer worthwhile. Indoor plumbing becomes worth trading just so your kids can actually accumulate value in their lives, even if that value is a slightly nicer outhouse and slightly more firewood.
