@DibIrken These movies and stories are famous because of women's obsession with the gilded cages created for them by the men of this time. Nobody is more horrified by these tales then the young men imagining having to spend one second playing as toy soldiers in these witch dens. Just goes to show when the *ock is in control the hen becomes the first obstacle, and chicks the second.

@sliceserve234 because the people who enjoy this slop wish they could return to living in these gilded cages.

@sliceserve234 meanwhile their actual ancestors were most probably poor mining girls

@Monicalia I could just rewrite the entire thing from a man's perspective and say the opposite. You hold these virtues in high esteem because they are YOUR virtues. We're all supposed to pretend like generally women don't hold piety and abstinence, moderation, civility in as high regard as men hold piety and work ethic, pain tolerance, and being stoic. For selfish reasons on both ends. I am not of the opinion that youshould not be able to enjoy this or that you should feel bad for it, but the cognitive dissonance between the content you enjoy and the society you wish to create should create a preponderance of curiosity towards the aspects of our society that are failing. And yet all I can hear about when the birds coo is how its the men in charge that are the problem. Tell that to the gender quotas are employed even in puppet governments in Afghanistan. Maybe these logical inconsistencies are doing more damage than you think if they are hitting the other side of the globe. Dont think the women in afghanistan aren't suffering YOUR consequences for your failures.
