It was me. I am the lazy millenial that did not apply to mcdonalds after getting let go from my tech job. If I only bootstrapped more IRL, we could've transitioned to a Mcdonalds/Walmart economy more smoothly.

Its easy. They try to buckle down, the old guys that were keeping the place afloat retire, the "new shiny employees" that look a lot different now have to run the ship. But all they know how to do is look different and get handouts. At least at all the large large companies. There's a reason every woman you know is making 6 figures at a big company.

It's cheap and the quality is awful. The only way to curb costs is to go to the real bulk stores like sams club and costco. Otherwise you're buying alternatives when you dont even know it.

They are closing down 51 total, including Florida, because of rising operation costs, and they could never figure out the insurance reimbursement mafia.

Yeah good luck with that when half of the problems were about to have all come from a lack of faith in the system. If you have a functioning economy and you flood it with money, that's ok. The money is offset by production. If you are not producing and you print money... Jesus Christ himself will not be able to save the dollar.

@Reathety They were most likely waiting for the shift after close.

LOL LOL As if this was a conscious business decision to target a different demographic and not a desperate reality. Publix is plateauing in an age of insane inflation but you think Walmart is trying to take their customers that are already leaving.... ok lol

People know how to shop. They needs healthy food at a price that isn't going up 10% every year, compounding.

I wonder what kind of other silly ridiculous things people said in 1929

Not just that. It's worse. A lot of the regular spending was already dolled out to control behavior. The blatant printing of the last 5 years is simply the result of them getting away with the former for so long. Now the entire ship is driven by forces that dont include progress, meritocracy, or even satisfying consumers.

@daytonabeachUSA Nah. It's the fact that our interest payments now cost more than our military which were spending on as if we have authority over half the planet. Half the capital gains we've had in the past 5 years have all been inflation anyways, so go ahead and try to take that money back if you want but its not worth much. Someone as a cover for shitty policy told you that companies are the blame for a never-ending money printer.

@waltertodd4479 Might as well be mexico. 3rd world information doesn't really apply to the east coast.

If you have a big enough freezer just go to sams club. Then you are actually buying in bulk and saving instead of buying chicken flooded with water and steroids.

yeah like rope for when i cant find work.

Also textiles and hot sauce, for when I cant afford mcdonalds anymore.

Lol buddy, you ever think of adding inflation into your calculations of "highs". The dollar lost 50% value over the past 5 years.

@who2u333 sams club card if your family is big enough. You can ACTUALLY buy bulk and save money instead of buying poison.
