Memory only works so well, because real logic is not being used, but instead standard machine learning techniques trained on tokenized web content. That's all it is. LLM is a language processing advancement combined with the same machine learning techniques that have been around for a decade. We are so far from real intelligence it is insane. The entirety of future prospects is based on automating mid level white collar work. That is the best case scenario. That is a poison pill to the current economy so good luck gaining anything else from the technology after that. And no, rote memorization machines that can communicate on a subhuman level is not going to move any mountains.
