For me, 9/11 is the cutoff. Before that, the Cold War had ended, the West had won, and everything was going gucci. After 9/11, the culture of fear took hold. TSA treating you like a criminal, , School shootings (which started before 9/11, but became epidemic over time), terrorist attacks, constant war, refugee crisis, Climate Change, SJWs and Cancel Culture, China is gonna overtake the US, Housing Market Crash, Swine Flue, Bird Flu, SARS, Covid-19. I mean, bad things were happening before, but the attitude was different. Now people just want to be left alone in their own homes.

I really agree that the way to success is through self employment. Maybe not money wise, but self respect wise. Every corporate job I've worked has been like an abusive relationship where they try to make me feel like I am worthless, even if I can see that I am a high achiever. Whereas now I'm working as a tax preparer with my mom in a basement office. Even though it's hard work, and the pay is low, I feel better about myself. And that's the difference. I really think the establishment status quo, including corporations, are trying to make us miserable. I've often said it, and you mentioned it in this video. Corporations are anti-human.
