  1. The first thing you learn as a gun owner, is you NEVER handle a weapon pointing it at anyone, without first verifying it is really UNLOADED! Even then the SAFEY, if it has one, should be ON. The armorer is the real idiot. Why would an armorer load live rounds into a revolver or any other weapon? The armorer is the most guilty party, in my opinion. Being expected to be expert in loading/unloading and verifying the gun is safe to hand to the actor.

  9. Let me proffer a suggestion that would help: LOCK UP criminals and hand them lengthy sentences with no parole or early release allowed! No, I concede this won't be a deterrent, but it would sure as hell keep jailed prisoners from being on the street committing even more crimes. And spare us please, the claptrap about racial disparity in prison populations. They're there because they were tried and found guilty of what they were charged with.
