  1. Sounds like a well-meant but totally goofy idea, removing freeways. Commuters use freeways to save valuable travel time and gas. Let's not forget MOST jobs are within the city limits.

  3. We lived some 30 years in our Houston suburb. We retired and bought a house with ACREAGE 600 miles away. And we TOTALLY LOVE our new home. Offering privacy, a dearth of crime (and diversity), and a magnificent view, compared to seeing the house next door 20 feet away.
