  1. When I lived in the Northeast and rode the EL and subway surface car to 37th & Sansom, I always CARRIED! Nor did I worry about a permit. I never pulled my gun for any reason. But like having automobile insurance, it was such a comfort, knowing it was there, out of sight, but readily available in an emergency.
