  1. Your meat chicken take what 8 weeks till butchering time. Let them go a few weeks more for bigger birds 10 to 12 pounds on a few birds. It's like small turkeys. We did it that way and it worked out nice. Good eating and smoking. It's almost garden time. Don't plant your beans next to onions they don't get along. Pour a coffee can of would ash in each bed and till it in. Pot ash. Not to much and you can test your soil. On your animals I'd only get meat goats to eat or sell. Better eating then deer. Sheep not so much. Rack of lamb is good. Old sheep not so much and you have to many wolves and coyotes. They will kill them all and you won't get nothing. Feed will be your biggest cost up north. Corn and hay is way to high. Plus fencing and a building and chores everyday and lots of water
