  1. I grew up in the Germantown section of Philly, and I experienced the same thing. Glad when my parents were able to move us to the Northeast. Now the whole city is a 💩hole. Glad I got out, but it's spreading to the suburbs.

  2. Northeast Philadelphia (Pa), had been trying to secede from Philadelphia for years, because they were the tax base. Now that the city has "changed", you don't hear about it.
