Making sure it's citizens have health care isn't a legitimate function of government? We are going to have to agree to disagree about that.

@bravecaucasian Is the bill of rights the definitive source of "legitimate function of government." Don't bother getting back to me. I don't actually care what you think or what the bill of rights left out (which is A LOT). I have my own ideas about what a "legitimate function of government is." And it includes helping it's people be healthy.
