  2. You are correct to be pissed at our political system and pissed at the major parties but your tactics are fucking terrible to get the change you want. I'm not saying the party can be saved and reformed. It might not be. But I'm going to at least fight for it as much as I possibly can to know for sure. You know why they recently purged progressives from the party? Because there were progressives to be purged. And corporate dems can be purged in exactly the same way but to do it we need to win. And you know why they purge voter rolls and rig the game? Because they know how fucking important the primary is unlike you it seems. There are all sorts of fucked up problems. At least make them take your vote from you. Don't do it for them. That is exactly what they want. They want you to quit fighting. And if you want to vote for a 3rd party candidate in the general then you go right ahead. You don't owe them jack fucking shit at that point if you don't want. But realize that when you are voting you are voting for a person, not a party. I support Sanders because I believe in him. I'd vote for him if he were a dem, republican, green, independent, martian or other. The person is forever more important than a party label. If you don't like him then fine. But don't say you would vote for him if he were a green then. Then don't vote for him period.

  4. Regarding, "the party will just let him win the nomination" The establishment is going to do anything and everything they possibly can to stop him. Fortunately for the country it isn't exclusively up to them. There is this thing called a primary. It is where the peasants vote and get to have their say. It isn't especially fair but it does exist. You would be wise to learn about it's existence. Regarding, "The Democrats will just cheat him out of another election..." Who knows. They may not even need to do that much cheating if enough people think like you and aren't willing to fight. Regarding, "My vote doesnt count anyway" So this is how you rationalize not fight huh? Regarding, "the establishment will either purge my name from the voter roles, or they will hack the voting machines." Why do you think the establishment fights dirty? It is because they know how important the primary is. They don't want you to vote. You are too happy to oblige them. Good luck with your crying and bitching while people like myself are going to continue to fight. Take care.

  5. So you are going to be voting along party lines. Way to go. You share that stupid ass trait with staunch dems and staunch republicans. You might be right that I am being silly for thinking Sanders can win the primary since he can't even get people like you to support him there. If enough people think like you they won't even need to rig the game. You shouldn't feel bad about voting 3rd party in general elections. I certainly don't regret voting for Jill Stein in 2016. But that doesn't mean I'm going to sacrifice my ability to push the "democratic" party to the left as much as I possibly can because fighting for what is right is more important to me that proving how pissed I am at the party because I'm not a fucking child.
