The war for 2020 is on and you can tell they are scared.

The most popular politician in the country is "unelectable" think mental midgets.

AJ regarding, "I'd be curious as to where you found the statistics that claim Bernie is the most popular politician." Literally every poll since the last presidential election that has tried to gauge it. Regarding, "doesn't really matter" You go ahead and tell yourself that all you want. The sane understand that your claim is asinine.
7
AJ forgive me for not being your bitch and doing your homework for you. It's not like you are actually interested in the answer anyway since you think polls are fake news or some other retarded ass shit.
4
Let the retarded smears of Sanders in the comment section commence.
2
Actually they increased it to 700 billion per year for the department of offense.
2
Because they only agree on 2 things (war and drugs) and are diametrically opposed on everything else.
2
Go away Rick Cea... Please, go away...
2
Except they never bothered to declare war in the first place so they wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
1
Yes he did but that doesn't mean I care for your whataboutism argument.
1
I can tell how out of touch he is by the way he reaches average americans.
1
Sure he did but don't let the facts get in the way of you lying.

*100 senators

I'd ask what the fuck you were talking about if I weren't convinced that you are just lying and making a stupid as fuck strawman argument.
1
No prob. It is understandable you might make that mistake because the corporate media, who is quick to say how paying for college is unaffordable and unrealistic, didn't even feel the need to mention the extra money going for bombs that would have more than covered Bernie's plan for free college tuition.
1
Sadly it isn't going to be stopping anytime soon because war is a great way for some to make money. The "war on terror" isn't meant to be won. It is meant to be perpetual. And so it will be unless we can get a President and government to stop it. Actually Trump has spoken about health care but that is only to tell us how he is dismantling obamacare. I'm torn about this. On one hand the ACA is pretty terrible but it did cover more people than before it. I'm hoping that it going away only accelerates us toward universal health care. Time will tell but there is no way it will happen under President Bone Spurs.

Try to realize you are no different than staunch dems and staunch republicans who care more about a party label than anything else.
1
Was that response directed at me Taj? Do you really need me to elaborate and explain the obvious to you? Because if you do that would not speak well of you.
1
AJ regarding, "Being an independent is not the same as being a democrat or republican." Wow. Really? No shit sherlock. The obvious point that I was making that you guys seem to miss is that anyone who cares about a party label rather than the policies a person is fighting for is just a fucking sheep fighting for a team.
1
And AJ as for the absurd notion that Bernie "tows" the party line, he goes out of his way to run for his senate seat as an independent, calls for a "political revolution," is the only reason they needed to rig the "democratic" primary in 2016 in the first place, talks repeatedly about the things wrong with the "democratic" party, makes the corporate dems look worse by giving the people something to compare them to, was the impetus of the demexit movement and so much more.
1
Taj regarding, "You are the one who said I was no different than a staunch republican or a staunch democrat." I guess it seems this way to you because you fail to understand the simple and obvious context. No you are not like them in every aspect but you absolutely are exactly like them in one of their worst aspects.... ie caring about a party label more than policy. You, like the staunch dems and staunch republicans, prioritize your team above all else. Regarding, "no such thing as an "Independent" party. Actually there is but that isn't really relevant to the conversation. Regarding, "Getting bogged down in semantics doesn't really bode well for you." It certainly was not my goal. I thought my point was rather self evident but you apparently can't understand it without the semantics. I guess I'll one last time try to explain my obvious point. If, like you demonstrate in your OP, you require a certain letter after a person name to "pay attention" to them, you are fucking sheep. That trait is exactly what stauch dems and staunch republicans require. In that aspect you are exactly like them.

I don't disagree that those 2 issues are important but there are lots and lots of other issues that are also very important like health care, social security, education, the environment, and more. I think you misunderstand how our elections and their roles are set up. A person gets the nomination of a party and that person picks as their running mate (or at least they are suppose to, there are other factors that sadly go into this) the person they think would be the best capable of doing the job should the unthinkable happen. Neither Sanders nor Paul would consider the other to be that person because, like I pointed out, they disagree on practically everything.

He has called out the military budget repeatedly.

There is a time and place to oppose wars and that is when they vote to go to war. Voting to see that the troops have what they need after the decision to go to war is completely different. I suspect you understand that by try to use this talking point to smear Sanders unjustly.
