@boeing757pilot Except they really aren't. A true progressive fighter would be incredibly popular and would be a great career move. Selling out is not a good career move.

@boeing757pilot "I'm not sure that they understand that." Of course they get it. Promising to fight for m4a and a 15 dollar minimum wage is how progressives got into office in the first place. The "democratic" party at large knows exactly how popular these policies are. That passing them would be good for them electorally. They won't and don't pass these things not because they don't get it but because winning is not their priority. First and foremost their job is to maintain the status quo at all cost.
