Let's say you learned it wasn't 99 percent, it was 95 percent. Would you care then? Or 50 percent? You clearly have no idea how much overlap there was so is there a point when you would care? Or let's say it 99 percent were at both. Would you still be like... "There were two events. The larger rally, the mob event. Very different." with 99 percent overlap.

@michaelangelo9119 Regarding, "the larger event was vastly larger with very massive crowds maybe 50 to 100 times larger" This tells me literally nothing. What percentage of people who rioted came from this? It's still anywhere between 0 percent and 100 percent and that's the type of information that I would consider valuable if you want me to think you have a point with your original OP.
