@twoshedsjohnson8540 "None of these help workers" Raising wages don't help workers? Please STFU. Employers ALREADY don't keep people on the books they don't need. They ALREADY do anything and everything they possibly can to cut hours. Raising wages doesn't change that.

@twoshedsjohnson8540 Regarding, "if a business is already cutting labor costs to the bone, what do you think will happen when costs rise?" Their need of labor is not related to the cost of labor therefor nothing changes. Don't be afraid to think hard about this. I know logic isn't easy for you.

@twoshedsjohnson8540 Regarding, "It's survival." LMFAO. I'm the one advocating for people making enough to live on. You are impossible to take seriously. Regarding, "about the only way I survive is to raise prices to offset those costs." So raise them. I'm not going to let you have slaves to sell stuff for cheap anymore than I'm going to let you pay dirt wages that people can't live on that my tax dollars often has to end up supporting because those people don't have enough to live on. Regarding, "Do you not grasp the most basic concepts of economics?" I get it. I also get that you are a POS. Why I ever address people like you is beyond me.

@twoshedsjohnson8540 Regarding, "You missed my last point...raising prices." Nice of you to admit that all you care about is your self interest and greed. You may as well advocate for slave labor so you can get all your crap as cheap as possible.

@teddiskim I'd rather people get paid what they are worth from their employers so that my tax dollars don't have to subsidize wages that don't pay the bills.

@twoshedsjohnson8540 Also thanks for admitting that raising the minimum wage doesn't cause business to cut hours not that you will stop from lying about it going forward.

@gregutz4284 Regarding, "getting "paid what your worth" isn't having the federal government set the minimum amount of pay." If people were actually getting paid what they were worth they would be getting more like 25 bucks an hour. But my choice of wording was maybe not the best and I should probably have gone with "paid enough to live on" instead of "paid what your worth." And yeah... people need to be paid enough to live on for reasons that should be obvious.

@gregutz4284 Both questions have the same answer: greed. Better question: why are you trying to deflect from the topic at hand?

@twoshedsjohnson8540 Regarding, "POS" I'm not the one fighting to make sure workers aren't being paid enough to live on. Try not to lie to yourself about who is the POS.

@twoshedsjohnson8540 Regarding, " I'm the one who has a grasp of economics. You like to strut around..." You are walking talking evidence of the dunning-kruger effect. But don't let that stop you from strutting around whilst actually making everyone dumber with everything you say.
