For example the US imprisons more of their citizens than any other country in the world by percentage of population and it isn't even close. Much of the blame for this, which disproportionately affects minorities, falls squarely on the shoulders of the democrats. And there are lots and lots of other examples, this is just one.

How about we just agree to disagree about it and focus on our common ground of agreeing that Nina Turner would be an excellent president. And she wouldn't be a great president because she is a women or because she is black but because of the person she is and the policies she fights for. That is really what is important afterall. Not what is between her legs or what the color of her skin is. She's no politicore of course but who is?

  4. I can't agree more with the fact that biden is "out of touch" but want to add that it's so much more than that. It's a complete lack of principles. He wants to say whatever is politically best for himself because he doesn't give a shit about this issue or anything else (as demonstrated by his flip flopping over the course of a day), and he is out of touch because he demonstrates he doesn't have a clue what the people want and that's why he's swaying in the wind. Bernie on the other hand is a demonstration of what a person who has principles looks like. That's why his opinions on things like this and everything else for that matter doesn't change with the times. He isn't pandering and trying to tell people what they want to hear... he's telling them what he thinks and not pretending to be something he's not. The US needs Bernie in the worst way. Let us all please make that happen.

But let's go back just a little bit further. Warren voted for the 700 billion dollars per year budget for the department of offense. This is pretty unforgivable to me and demonstrates to me that she does not represent me. I can't believe she didn't even pretend to be opposed to it as her vote was inconsequential.

It is a good thing but I am not, at all, impressed by it because of what it was not. This was created in the wake of Wall Street almost collapsing the economy. This was created at a moment when dems should have been breaking up the big banks, bringing back glass-steagal, and jailing criminal bankers. They didn't do anything of these things but instead they gave us just enough (the consumer protection bureau) to keep us from burning them all at the stake. In short I am not nearly as convinced that she is genuine on the issue. As much as I like bankers being sternly talked to I would prefer they be put in jail for their criminal activity. Regarding, "She gets too much hate for some Bernie folk that I think is uncalled for" I guess Bernie fans are rightfully pissed she didn't endorse him during the primary... you know... like a true progressive and true leader should have.
