  3.  @sebozon1769  While there is an argument to made that this would be a good thing ultimately it isn't practical in this world. A world where anything can be weaponized and used against a candidate. Especially in a world where US (I'm speaking of this from a US perspective) citizens are not well known for their worldwide knowledge and such an endorsement could easily be used to manipulate low information voters. Think for a second why candidates only announce a running mate until AFTER getting the nomination. They do it that way because they know that no matter who they pick that pick will be tried to be used against them so why bother with a headache you don't need and give the other side ammo you don't have to give them? This type of endorsement would seem very similar to me. A headache you don't want or need for rather limited gains IMO.
