I love the Green party but please still vote in "democratic" primaries for the most progressive candidates you can find. Then if you want to vote green in generals by all means do so.

Regarding, "U can only vote for one person" Not exactly. I could for example vote in the democratic primary for the most progressive person I can find to help shape the party and make them better and I could vote for someone else in the general if I want. Regarding, "you need to concentrate your energy on one." You care too much about parties. Vote for good people. People who share your values and concerns regardless of the party they are in or you are doing the exact same thing as republicans and democrats who blindly support their party.

Regarding, "You are assuming the Democrats are acting in good faith." Nobody is assuming they are acting in good faith. We know they are not. Regarding, "The truth is that no single candidate at any national level has been elected to office thru Our Revolution or Justice Democrats and they won’t." Wow are you quick to throw in the towel. Both of those organizations are exceptionally new. Regarding, "None of that will change by giving the process a “chance.”" You must realize the game, although still completely unfair, has changed. Wikileaks has exposed them so they can not be quite as blatant about their corruption going forward. Sanders entered the race as a virtual unknown last time. This time he will be the most popular politician in the country with the name recognition of a rock star. Of course they will try to fuck him over again but the bottom line is that they won't be able to in 2020. And if we don't get Sanders or another progressive then that doesn't prevent us from going and supporting another candidate. I am going to give it a "chance." That seems more logical than just quitting without trying. Regarding, "support a people’s party" Why can't you do this and support progressives who are still trying to work in the "democratic" party? Does it really need to be one or the other? Can't we do both?

They will absolutely let him run as a dem because it is in their interests to do so. When he runs as a dem they can work to try and prevent him winning in the ways they did in 2016. If they force him out and make him run as an independent they ensure they lose during the general because left leaning voters are then split.

I can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Home Plate regarding, "a lot of states have closed primaries" Yup. It is dumb, wrong, and undemocratic but the establishment's message is clear. They don't want you to vote which is a pretty good reason to make sure you do. Regarding, "so one has to chose which of the progressives is worth registering for which party that year" Your registration does not matter at all during a general election. In the general you can vote for whoever you want regardless of what party you are registered to. Your registration is only important in determining what primary you can vote for (assuming you are in a closed primary state). If there is a green party primary for example then you go ahead and make sure you are registered with them but the fact of the matter is that essentially only the major parties have meaningful primaries. And when they are the only meaningful primary then you need to do what you need to do to vote as often as you can which includes primaries.

Regarding, "you can only vote for one person in each contest in the general" Yeah, I'm pretty sure no one is saying or implying otherwise. At least until we get ranked choice voting like we should have.

Regarding, "I wouldn't count on it." I'll cross that bridge when I get there. The bottom line is that if I were a gambling man, and I am a gambling man, I bet the house he is allowed to run as a dem in 2020.
