@jonnystarsmore3445 Term limits are not a solution. Getting money out of politics is. Get money out of politics and you won't care how long uncorrupted politicians stay in office.

@jonnystarsmore3445 Regarding, "people who fake" It's easier to tell if someone is fake if they have been around a long time. New faces are always capable of just telling you whatever you want to get your vote before selling you out. As for doing the right thing to try and win the next election... it only matters if you have another election to win.

@jonnystarsmore3445 Regarding, "they are part of the solution" They aren't. The problem isn't that politicians are in government too long. The problem is that they are bought. Term limits solves nothing. If anything I prefer we not have term limits. I like long records. Getting rid of term limits without getting money out of politics helps the establishment. Their candidates will always have money behind them. When we actually have a good politician who there is no reason to kick them out. If AOC keeps doing a good job (not be confused with perfect) and doesn't take legalized bribes then she can stay around as long as she wants. Corporate sellouts are always going to have the revolving door to go back to make money in the private industry. There is a seemingly unending supply of corporate stooges to take the old guards new place but we only get a handful of progressive champions. It's more important to us that our guys be able to stick around than it is to make the corporate guys rotate more often. GET MONEY OUT OF POLITICS. That's the problem. Solve that. Everything else is just details.
